When taking photographs and in this case outdoor photographs, sometimes the moment catches you by surprise while at other times you wait for the perceived image.
I was at the beach on a photoshoot for a documentary movie taking portraits, when I suddenly caught sight of this beautiful flock of birds.
I wish they had stayed a bit longer or I had spotted them a few seconds earlier so that I could get the exact image I wanted. However this is the nature of photography, turn your head and the moment has passed!
Looking down at this beautiful view I caught sight of this bird perched on a rock. I waited a few seconds and off he went.
Using a rock as a tripod I waited for the moment but in this case while the camera was being exposed.
One thing we can be sure of is that the sun rises and sets everyday. I waited for about 30 minutes for the sun to emerge from behind the mountains.
